During the day, Haus Pigadi is the ideal place to relax, whether it’s on the veranda sipping frappes, on the beach soaking up the sun or picknicking among the beautiful Olive trees. Swimming of course is a must, and the clear water makes for good snorkeling. There are also many interesting trails to explore and mountains to conquer if you are feeling a little more energetic. One of the great features of Pigadi is it’s safeness, you really can let your children run around freely without having to keep an eye on them every minute of the day allowing you the chance to relax.
But don’t think that all this serenity makes for boring evenings with nothing to do. Pigadi has a surprisingly upbeat tempo during the summer evenings. Haus Pigadi itself is always busy during the evenings and owner Yannis is always ready to demonstrate the music and dances traditional of the area. There are also several beach clubs. For instance, a five minute stroll along the shore road will bring you to the beach club Panagia a truly stunning venue which has a swimming pool and is open all day and most of the night. Also just a few yards from Haus Pigadi, Yannis’ brother Luckis has a rock club as an alternative to the traditional tunes. Other clubs, playing mostly Greek music can be found in and around Pigadi and Pteleos.
